How did Moments begin? Simple really, Tracy planned and decorated for any occasion, from weddings to birthdays, she was the go to person for family, friends and colleagues.
Tracy would plan every detail from decorating and décor design. Following the weddings or event, she would feel as sense of bliss and exhilaration for creating such a beautiful wedding for the couple. Tracy received humbling & endearing reviews. Before getting married, Tracy had planned dozens of wedding and events.
After experiencing a wedding from both personal and professional perspectives, Tracy knew to let serendipity take over. With the passion towards weddings in her heart and the support from her husband, Terry, Moments was established.
In the beginning, Tracy would host her meetings with her couples Starbucks locations throughout Winnipeg over lattes. While passionately listening to every detail they would share.
Business quickly grew and Tracy knew Moments needed a business location operate from. Moments is very proud to be the first wedding planning firm in Winnipeg, Manitoba to have a private office to meet with their couples.
Still today, an initial meeting or planning progress meeting can be requested and honored at Starbucks, as Tracy puts it “I do enjoy going to Starbucks with my couples, because it allows me to never loose site of where and why Moments started.”
“I visualize every wedding to be one that is captivating and filled with opulence and perfection. I am passionate about décor, flowers and creating an evening that the couple and their guests will remember”.
I could not be happier, that having wedding planners become a part of weddings has begun to catch on in the 204.
Brides here deserve a professional wedding planner to assist them in making their day perfect and help to ease the shenanigans that go into planning a couture occasion. I am here to provide laughter, be a negotiator/mediator, and share in development of creative ideas and even to pass a tissue.
I am a Certified Wedding Planner from the WPIC (Wedding Planners Institute of Canada) as well is a CSS-(Certified Sandals Specialist). Currently, I am working on other certifications through the amazing WPIC.
Tracy along with the Moments Team stay involved in the current trends and attend several conferences per year worldwide to ensure we stay current to new wedding haute items.
Moments takes part every year at various wedding shows in Winnipeg. Tracy has appeared on Breakfast Television, as well as advertised in various bridal magazines, radio and other forms of media.
I have the greatest team at Moments, with each person bringing their amazing talents that transform an ordinary reception room in to a breathtaking work of art. We love to see the look on bride’s & grooms faces when they first see their reception room. We are all hopeless romantics that believe in true love and to date there has not been a wedding that we have not shared in tears.
I am proud to offer services to local, national and international couples.

I have always wanted to work in an environment where I can input my creative ideas, have an impact on design to see my hard work bring happiness to someone else. I came to Moments during the wedding season of 2008 and loved it. In 2009, I graduated from Red River College worked in the industry of study and still had weddings calling to me… Moments was the place for me to be-I love the interaction with couples and helping them create a day of dreams. I look forward to expanding my certification in the next year.

I have a strong interest in weddings… I love them! The summer of 2009, I wanted to experience wedding planning and the process of getting to the big day. While at Moments I was exposed to a variety of phases to get to the big day. Moments takes every detail to a level of passion that I admired so much that I don’t want to leave! I had the opportunity to interact with couples, vendors and go to see how important it is to have a planner on their side to take care of requirements for them. I enjoy decorating Stella’s window which I get to see the latest bridal and evening fashions. I look forward to continuing learning and be apart of weddings with Moments.
