This wedding was fun to plan with Andrea and Rod. Andrea wanted to have a park wedding, however, with our unpredictable weather, the ceremony had to be moved into the reception venue, but that did not let anything stop with romantic ceremony. The reception was a lot of fun and very guest orientated they played various group games which got people in a celebration mood. Andrea add environmentally friendly elements to their day providing the guest’s plantable wild flower favors. This wedding was a pure romance. Ana was very lucky to have a groom who was involved and beside her every step of the way. Luis and Ana wanted to have a style that was unique and fun. Guests entered their reception to a high end lounge atmosphere with soothing music, high tops draped in black satin and a view of the city lights. This wedding was personalized to express this couple’s passions not only for each other, and included Luis’ car in the photo shoot and a beta fish which Moments named “Luana” which was in a four foot cylinder vase at the receiving table. Ana looked amazing in her wedding gown and a pair of shoes like no other bride! Moments provided Day of Decorating and décor planning sessions, table linen, chair linen and glassware.

Brandy & Antonio

This wedding was so much fun to coordinate. Brandy had her Daughters and Son be a huge part of their day. The daughter had more tears than any guest she told Moments “I just cannot believe it, this is the happiest day of her life”. Brandy and Tony treated their guests to a surprise fireworks display in the evening. Cali and Kanwal

This wedding was a family affair for Tracy. The frequent planning sessions occurred at Starbucks, which always including a good latte & productive planning. Cali and Kenny had a traditional Sikh wedding ceremony and reception. The scope for this wedding was to provide an environment that reflected the richness, beauty of the Indian Culture. The décor for this grand occasion was in deep reds & gold. The Bride was beautiful in her sarees. Cali wore red for the ceremony at the Temple and a fuschia pink for the reception. Their guest list included several dignitaries from across Canada including Manitoba’s own Premier. Cara & Bryan

This wedding was enchanting and filled with earthy touches. The ceremony was in a stunning room that depicted the childhood stories on a stain glass windows. The ring bearer was their adorable family dog. The Bride & Bridesmaids wore beautiful garters that were handmade by family. The reception was hosted in a ballroom that provided the guests a view of the city. The guests were treated to a live band to dance the night away. This wedding was so much fun and a true pleasure to plan with Ellen & Dave. We met several times at Starbucks to ensure we were on track with planning phases. Ellen was a full-time student and Dave was busy in business and a student as well. I remember Ellen & her Mother coming to the wedding show and telling me “ I got my dress” what a beautiful dress it was. Ellen has a presence and smile to light up a room and on her wedding day she looked beautiful. Ellen & Dave had a ceremony & reception in the same room. Their wedding party was fabulous and a lot of fun. A stellar speech was given by the Groom’s Father. Moments, a few weeks before the wedding had provided a change of venue, at the couple’s requests, it was a smooth transition to a perfect setting for Ellen & Dave.

This was the best fairytale wedding! Erin knew the look she wanted, a color palate of “not in” colors… we loved it! Erin looked exceptional for her wedding day surrounded by family & friends as she married Rodney….Erin had 3 pairs of wedding shoes! Erin has fine taste in everything right down to the real blue orchids placed on the black satin dinner napkins, the meal presentation for the dinner menu was that of an artist. it was a phenomenal evening. Grace & Rex-Al

This wedding was a so much fun to plan with Grace & Rex-al. Grace wanted a garden wedding with Filipino traditional ceremony elements, this is exactly what they had. Moments had so many laughs during the planning of this wedding, Grace and Rex-Al were so much fun to work with from the start to finish. The grand entrance of Grace, who wore a wedding dress was hand made by her Tita, was that out of a fairytale, as she arrived in by horse and carriage. Escorted by her Mother & Brother down the red carpet to her groom, was very emotional. The exit of the Bride & Groom and entourage on the horse carriage was picture perfect. The photo shoot was that of stars, they were radiant! The reception was a grand celebration for their guests, they really enjoyed the chocolate fountain for dessert and personalize M&Ms favors. This wedding was a destination dream, hosted in Clear Lake Manitoba, where the Bride’s family has a summer cottage. Lauren was a pure delight to work with during the planning of her wedding. Lauren was a full-time student in an intense program of Dentistry. When we had the opportunity to meet it was of quality, we had a lot of fun during every meeting. Lauren had many eco-friendly elements added to her day, from invitations to guest plantable favors. Lauren looked absolutely captivating on her wedding day. The ceremony was outdoors on a bandstand surrounded by trees. This wedding was that of uniqueness and romance. Leslie was a blast to work with from the planning phases and expertise of Devon with his groomsmen made each session a lot of laughs. The ceremony was outdoors in an enchanted pond setting, with floating lilies in the water. This wedding had an orient feel with lilies, bamboo, parasols, paper lanterns and guests were treated to food stations that provided them Chinese take out boxes. This wedding was hosted in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The couple resides in Thompson, Manitoba. Lisa wanted to ensure her children were a significant role in the ceremony, this was a very family oriented ceremony with the Matron of Honor was the Brides Mother. The officiate was from Thompson, Manitoba who joined Lisa & Scott as Husband and Wife. The reception was a celebration with a dance floor filled from beginning to end. This wedding was a romantic and charming event. Malyque & Kevin live in Australia but met while in school and Malyque came to Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada as an exchange student. This wedding brought people from different points of our world together in one room to celebrate an endearing love. The wedding party & guests were treated to a spectacular grand entrance followed by a surprise dance routine to “ Chaiya Chaiya” on their monogrammed dance floor to get the evening started. Melanie & Peter

This wedding was of ultra sophistication and class. Melanie’s Wedding Dress was iridescent & detailed beautifully she was breathtaking. Melanie and Peter wanted a wedding of a social and mingling atmosphere. The the ceremony was held at a garden statue rooftop surrounded by family & friends. In the lounging area following the ceremony guests were served hors d’ourves and beverages. The evening hosted a menu of pizzazz and enticement of various food stations for their guests, which they a received a little something different each time. The outside lit up with a bubble candle flower tree, it sparkled in the evening. The guest favor was a compilation CD with Melanie & Peter’s favorite songs. Melni was truly awesome! Melni had a traditional Sikh Ceremony. This Anand Karaj was in a beautiful Temple. The reception décor was that of an up scale night club environment. This Bride and Groom looked amazing and her entourage of ladies….stunning. Moments provided Day of Coordination for both days with meetings to ensure Melni’s visions were brought to reality. Instead of a head table Moments did a rich culture lovers lounge draped in fabrics and artifacts.

Sara & Derek

This wedding was a picturesque setting for both the ceremony and reception. Sara and Derek were married in a flower garden with quartet music filling the air. This wedding had many sentimental touches from the officiate who was a family member to the Bride. The reception was a personalized setting for family & friends with the table having names that represented Sara & Derek’s lives together from their first date & the movie they saw, to the place where they first met. Their guests were treated to a video montage of Sara & Derek. The speeches were excellent; they made you laugh and cry. The Bestman speech, one of the best Moments has ever heard. The guest favors were mini evergreen trees and a candy buffet. Sara & Derek met while employed at a local seafood restaurant… let’s just say from that moment they were Hooked on Love! This wedding was an autumn abundance. The Church pew wreaths were made by the Bride. Sarah was planning their wedding for a couple years and not a detail was missed. Their theme was a tree which was featured on the programs, seating chart, pins, centerpieces with tree branches and wish tree when guests entered into the reception. Sarah during her planning purchased at a local outdoor farmers market, a wooden candle holder, this was a focal point between Sarah & Al at the head table. Shannon &Mark

This wedding was an afternoon celebration. The speeches were very touching & funny especially the one by Groom’s sister & Brother-in-Law with photos of the Groom at various stages of Marc’s years growing up. Shannon looked absolutely beautiful she was glowing the whole day! The Bride’s Mother looked stunning on the wedding day. It was very emotional to watch a very proud Mother walk her daughter down the aisle. Moments provided a centerpiece SOS the night before the wedding & make up application to the Bride on the Day of. Simi and Claudio had their wedding In a studio in the heart of the exchange district which was transformed into a warm surrounding of rich fabrics, candles, flowers for family & friends to celebrate. This wedding was amazing! The Brides dress was from Spain the head piece bird cage was captivating! The photo shoot was from the pages of an elite magazine… The Brides Father provided fresh fish for every table. This was a very emotional wedding to be apart of and we were honored to share in their day. The reception had dancing, laughter and a lovely Kermit the Frog rendition done by the MC, the Groom’s Brother. Moments provided Day of Coordination, Decorating & Décor design we created a memory table, candy buffet, Chivari Chairs, Linens, Kids Area, Moments Signature Personalized Presentation Vase and Table Stationary. In honor of the memory of the Brides Mother, Moments suggested the Bride to write a message on one of the imported gigantic balloons and have a private send offinto the blue sky above.

Tara & Brent

This wedding was fun to plan with Tara. Our meetings kept Tara on track with the planning of their Big Day! Their wedding had personalized touches throughout the day. The departure from the Church had the couple walk under raised curling broom sticks by their wedding party. The Groom and his late Father are avid to the sport of curling. The photo session on a curling rink ice was fun and touching shoot while Brent wore his late Fathers curling sweater. The evening reception treated guests to candle and soft lit dinner and dance. The dance floor was open and the guests were treated by the Groom on his dancing style that the captured Tara’s heart. Some of their guests travelled from Ireland to join in the splendid celebration. A great time was had by all in attendance. The theme for the evening was a characture drawing of the couple which was displayed on the seating chart and guest favors that wrapped the chocolate candy. First Down…. This was a highlight made for television! Tracy & Charles were Hitch’d At Halftime during a CFL Winnipeg Blue Bomber Football game. Tracy and Charles won a contest and in front of thousands said “ I DO” Moments coordinated the wedding from start to finish we had 8 minutes! We worked closely with Tracy to ensure all the details were discussed and provided… especially the television in her dressing room so she would not miss a minute of the game! Moments had custom made linens for the intimate celebration on the field, chivari chairs, centerpieces were created and designed by Moments. Second Down… This couple got two weddings in one year and Moments was acquired to ensure a flawless day. This evening was a formal affair. They had traditional Ukrainian Band, a football martini slide ice sculpture. Yun & Jianbiao

This wedding was rich in Chinese culture. Yun planned the wedding with her Father by her side every step of the way in the three weeks after coming to Moments office. It was her Father who selected the décor colours. Jianbiao came to Winnipeg from the United States of America days prior to the wedding. The Church ceremony was a quaint with family and friends. Yun & Jianbiao had a horse and carriage transport them to their photo shoot.
